BEACHWOOD, Ohio — City Council agreed on Monday (March 4) to provide tax incentives for a rehabilitation business that recently moved to the city from Mayfield Heights.
Kelly Beaudoin, owner of Balance Solutions Physical Therapy Inc., said the business recently moved into its new home at 23175 Commerce Park in Beachwood.
“We’ve been looking for over a year for a building that was close to our existing building in Mayfield Heights (6001 Landerhaven Drive), a building that would be one (freeway) exit from our current location, that would be in our price range and that would accommodate our patient population, and a one-story building,” Beaudoin said.
Beaudoin said that, through networking and working with her bank, she was presented with the opportunity to purchase the Beachwood building, and that improvements to that building will be made.
The building had two tenants — a child-care service (which has since left) and an adult daycare business. The two businesses weren’t supplying enough money to cover the investment to purchase the building or make improvements, Beaudoin said.
